The Takamine EG522C Acoustic-Electric classical guitar features a spruce top, nato back and sides, and a cutaway body that allows for full fingerboard access. Other appointments include a traditional classic rosette, gold tuners, and the Takamine TK-4N preamplifier.

The Takamine TK-4N Preamplifier features volume control, bass, middle and treble frequency slider controls, EQ bypass, a "tunable" Notch Filter and a mid contour switch.   • Grand Piano

    I was in the market for an acoustic electric guitar, and I went looking for a Cordoba or other similar guitar for travel and misc. purposes. Fortunately, I found none of the guitars I was interested in. Instead, I found the Takamine EG522C in a lonely corner all by itself. Something jumped and told me that it was going home with me, and home it came. I thought it would be more expensive and expected to pay much more for it, but turned out to be very affordable, solid and an has an unreal tone. Reminds me of a grand piano. The strings did come slightly higher off the saddle, but easily remedied, and the overall action is excellent afterwards. I am extremely jealous with this guitar, and recommend it highly. Plus you can't beat the price, it's a real steal.

  • Good guitar but buzzes on strong strumming

    Good guitar but buzzes on strong strumming. If you want to sit in the corner and mumble for yourself that is fine. But if you strum strong or play high volume classical different strings buzz AT SADDLE on different frets.
