This is the one!

I went from store to store trying A/E Basses of all price ranges. No matter which others I played, the best sounding was this one. It's body is a little fat which takes some getting used to, but the only A/E Basses which serioulsy compared to it were double the price. The action on this guitar is great, no buzz anywhere (which there was on the Michael Kelly's and the Ibanez). This is the one!

tried the rest, now I have the best

The action is so smooth. I am a jail minister, and we move from room to room. The heavy electrics and amplifiers get rough I am also disabled. But the Takamine acc. bass is an answer to a prayer. Its light, has a full throated sound without the amps. I have tried others, but they all fall short. The quality of the Takemine is simply amazing. I am impressed. I have played for 45 years and am not easily impressed. The the Takamine does it hands down. Rev. Dave gooodtimedave@insightbb.com

Great Tone

Great WOODY tone from this baby and the quilting is beautiful. The action from the factory was much too high but that can be fixed. Overall the best A/E Bass I've played or heard.

TTakamine acoustic - best deal I've seen

I got the takamine acoustic bass four years ago and despite drops and falls it has stayed intact. I have used heavy and light gauge strings on it. It is a very playable bass because the fretboard is tight and the wood is sturdy and smooth. I have found I can play fast plugged in or drop a beat acoustic style. Good for the money and it's good for the road.

Excellent A/E bass

Just got the gloss-black, left-handed model. this baby sounds as beautiful as it looks. The EQ, tuner, X-bass features are top-notch, they allow you to tweek the sound to how ever you like it. it makes a very unique sound when played with a pick. Soinds great unplugged too. I recommend it to anyone who wants an A/E. This was the only quality left handed AE bass available for less than $1000. The low price was a bonus. Buy one now!
