Handcrafted from a single, sustainably sourced mahogany log, this djembe produces a warm, resonant tone focused by the interior's rough-hewn grooves. Sustainably Sourced Mahogany Construction
The shell of the Origins Djembe is carved from a single piece of plantation-grown mahogany, a dense, durable wood prized for drum making. By using wood from sustainable sources, Toca ensures that this djembe can be enjoyed for generations. The mahogany shell produces a rich, resonant tone with pronounced low end and clear high frequencies.
Rough-Hewn Interior Focuses the Sound
