A wealth of features makes Create XT a great sounding, easy-to-use vocal effect pedal.

The VoiceTone Create XT from TC Helicon is a hit-producer-in-a-pedal. Now you can get those "ear candy" vocal effects that producers call on every day to create hit tracks. VoiceTone Create XT vocal effect processor improves on the original Create by incorporating HardTune (used by artists such as T-Pain and Kanye West) and the rich, front-of-house quality reverb from its famous big brother, VoiceLive 2. The TC Helicon Create XT vocal processor is now easier to use with individual on/off buttons for the effects blocks, more onboard editing, an input for an optional Switch3 footswitch if you prefer a vocal effects pedal, and much more!

Rich reverb
Vastly superior to the reverb effect found in stomp boxes and in all-in-one mixers that do little more than add mud to your vocals, the TC Helicon Create XT's high-end reverb algorithm comes from TC Electronic, a company with a long and successful history in reverb processing.

Choosing your sound
When it's time to pick your vocal effects, the TC Helicon Create XT effect processor offers you several routes to define your sound. First of all, the 10 factory presets give you a wide range of useful effects with each preset having A and B settings that can be easily toggled when needed. To customize your sound, the vocal effect processor's 100 styles offer preprogrammed effect chains with a wide range of subtle to insane effects that can be made into easily accessible presets. Making things easier is the way in which the 100 styles are organized: by effects category and by musical genre. If you are comfortable with effects terminology, the TC Helicon vocal processor lets you browse by category. If you prefer, however, you can browse the genres such as Pop/R&B, Rock/Metal, Oldies, Jazz/Ballad, and Electronic.

Even more sonic possibilities are offered when you consider that each style has effects enabled and others disabled. The fun begins when you experiment with turning effect blocks on and off with the front panel buttons. As a bonus, you can add the optional Switch3 footswitch to extend your effects switching capabilities in performance.

Added tweak-ability control features six parameters to allow finer control of your sound. The TC Helicon VoiceTone Create XT pedal's four Effect On/Off buttons allow you to engage effects individually or as a group. A low-noise XLR mic input with phantom power is the ideal choice for condenser mics. You can also use the pedal input to connect an optional Switch 3 footswitch for individual effect block on/off switching. The outputs are quite flexible. Choose Mono+dry or stereo XLR balanced outputs. An included USB lets you connect to VoiceSupport, an application that delivers updates, new sounds, tips, and tricks exclusively for the VoiceTone vocal effects system.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • TC Helicon VoiceCreate is awesome!

As reviewed by Mike G. on 6/18/2010

I have taken the VoiceCreate and selected my favorites in order of contemporary (i.e. fast tempo / short verb tail, tap delay, etc. in position 1 A & B, then in 2 A & B I use a little larger rooms, in position 3 A & B I use mid-tempo mid-sized verb length rooms, all the way up to large halls for ballads on the last presets. This is extremely versatile and can give you a fully produced vocal sound. As far as another person posted getting "feedback" it's all in how you set-up your gain structure and mix of the unit so you don't get feedback. It has nothing to do with the TC Helicon. I highly recommend this processor!

  • Your voice on steroids

As reviewed by Dave on 6/7/2010

Ok, my first thought when I pulled this out of the box was "Lots of buttons :)" but it has more than just that. Once I hooked it up and started playing with the effects, mods, and delays etc... It was like spending hours receding voice takes in one. This can turn your voice into a superchorus just by yourself or even have it rev louder as it delays the sound of your voice making it sound as though you're in an arena. I thought the functionability of the buttons could have been a lot better. But with so many options and parameters to tweak it's an effects stackers dream. I also noted it worked very well with a guitar particularly when using a glass slide. I've also run my entire loop through this then through another delay pedal and you can come up with almost anything under the sun. It'll help pull your voice into key or stretch and distort it as far out as you want. Overall a great value and still one of my most used vocal effects processors.

  • Good Vocal Effects

As reviewed by Revent68 on 6/6/2010

TC Helicon makes some of the best vocal effects out there. This unit is great just for the reverb and the micro chorus alone. The tone button automatically adjusts the EQ and other settings to make you sound better. I started with a couple of the different TC Helicon stomp boxes and then graduated to the VoiceLive2, which has the doubler and harmonizer as well. This unit is great if you're on a budget, but if you're going to buy 3 of them, you might as well buy the VoiceLive2 for about the same amount of money $799. If you only have enough money for one TC Helicon stomp box, I recommend this one over the others.
