TC Helicon's VoiceTone Correct XT provides you with smooth, pro vocal tones and the security of active anti-feedback. Matched with TC-Helicon's natural auto-chromatic pitch correction, it's like having a live sound engineer and a vocal coach at every gig.
Adaptive Tone VoiceTone Correct XT features TC-Helicon's adaptive tone technology which intelligently controls Shape EQ and Dynamics (Compression & De-ess) to provide the perfect tonal balance that fits in the mix. Best of all, it's easy—just set and forget. The adaptive gate can also be added to help suppress feedback and clean up noise.
Intelligent Anti-Feedback Feedback is a reality for the contemporary vocalist. Unlike other anti-feedback technology, VoiceTone Correct XT doesn't require any pre-calibration in a quiet room before your gig—who has time for that anyway? Once again it's set and forget—protecting everyone's ears.
Auto-Chromatic Pitch Correction The auto-chromatic pitch correction helps you sing more in tune, much like a metronome helps for playing in time. It's like singing with a singer who has perfect pitch. This lets you know when you're out of tune and you naturally decide to correct yourself, or not.
I/O The VoiceTone Correct XT has balanced XLR output for sending a clean, quiet signal to your mixer. The mic input gives you a studio quality mic preamp with phantom power while the instrument input XLR output can used as a conventional balanced DI connection. There is also a USB output to connect you to Voice-Support which offers tips, tricks, and updates.

I picked up one of these units mainly for the auto Shape and Dynamics portion of this unit. We put it on our Drummer's headset mic first. He has a good Mic, but it's still substantially lower quality than a beta 58. This unit woke his mic up and truly brought it up to the performance level we were looking for. I then tried it on our other vocal mics. The difference was subtle, but still added to the quality nicely. Nicely enough that I purchased three more for the other mics.
I placed them into a drawer in our stage rack. When powered up, they are active and work as intended.
Please note that we also have an ACP compressor and a GL2400 Board, so our equipment is also top notch. These units will not fix an otherwise poor quality PA rig, it will only enhance what you already have.
The Pitch correction portion is descent, but we only use them at 25% on the pitch knob.
Hope this helps..
After looking online and at the local GC, I bought this pedal to help with some pitch correction and feedback. My biggest concern was that it might make the vocals sound "digital". I know that is popular in some contemporary music, but frankly I despise that type of vocal effect. This pedal is miles away from that. It does exactly what the literature says and sounds very natural doing it. It pitch corrects, shapes, compresses, fixes feedback, and adds a lot of warmth to your vocals without any muddiness at all. It is truly like having a sound engineer in a pedal and does it automatically once it is set; just follow the directions. The best thing is that it sounds so natural you don't even realize it is there until someone comments on "how good your voice sounds today".
A great pedal giving natural sounding high quality results; just like it TC Helicon says it does.
Each parameter on this unit does exactly what it claims in a smooth and desireable way. I bought one to experiment with. I am so happy with the results I will be buying one for each vocal microphone in the band.
If you use the pitch correction feature it is important that your instruments be in tune and in proper intonation.
