Overview

TC Electronic is proud to introduce the latest addition to its line of compact bass amp heads, the RH750. With 750 watts of power (1200W peak) and superior tonal capabilities, and the well-known Bass Amp 2.0 feature set, the RH750 is ready for any stage anywhere!

The RH750 head continues TC Electronic's Bass Amp 2.0 quest of bringing a whole new set of features to bass players. The RH750 captures the essence of this revolutionary concept with a built-in chromatic tuner, three presets, and jaw-dropping tone-shaping abilities combined with immense power and stunning tone.

The RH750 jams significant power into its compact design: 750 watts (1200W peak) are just waiting to be unleashed. Secondly, the new TweeterTone knob gives you intelligent HF control that can take the RH750 from old-school vintage tones to crisp and modern sounds (and everything in-between) in seconds.

The RH750 also includes SpectraComp, a unique 'per-string' bass compressor that's been praised by players worldwide for its extremely even compression across all strings. Additionally, TubeTone emulation gives you the tone and response of a real tube preamp and power amp. When you combine these features with the versatile 4-band tone control section, you get powerful tone shaping that's in a league of its own. In fact, the RH750 boasts the exact same preamp as TC Electronic's crown jewel bass amp, the Blacksmith!

With three onboard presets, you can store your favorite tones tailored for different basses or musical styles. Finally, switching between a vintage Fender and a modern active bass or between a funky R&B sound and a classic rock tone is completely effortless. Also, the built-in chromatic tuner makes maintaining perfect pitch simple. The tuner always displays the tuning state of your bass, and with the Mute button you can tune up silently onstage.

Features
  • 750W power (1200W peak)
  • Bass Amp 2.0 feature set
  • Three presets for storing your crafted tones
  • 4-band EQ
  • TubeTone emulation
  • SpectraComp delivers compression equally across all strings

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

As a 35 year veteran of the bass guitar and bass amplifiers I am totally blown away at the versatility of this amp. I have played enery kind of amp , Fender,SWR, Aguilar, and currently own Eden, and an Ibeanez Promethean but this TC Electronic amp blows the, all away. I love the fact that you can change the frequencies of the entire EQ. PLENTY of headroom, I dont think your ears could handle this thing turned wide open. I have my gain set at 9 o'clock and the master at 10 o'clock and my bass at half volume and it is plenty loud. Get it you wont be disapppointed.

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

I've always wanted an amp I can switch from funk to fingerstyle with, and this obviously fits the bill. The third channel is for my fretless. It does this sounding great. I had to play with the fingerstyle sound to get what I wanted for a couple of days. I like a slightly scooped sound with enough mids to cut through. It took some time, but was worth it. The funk sound (very scooped) was instantly wonderful. I wish it had two or three more presets.

If you are the kind of player that has one sound and plays one style (not a putdown, btw), check this out, but I'm not sure it will be heads and tails above Genz Benz and the Markbasses of the world. If you like simple controls then this is obviously not for you, but you probably wouldn't be reading the review anyway.

If you get this you won't be sorry. Set aside a bit of time to play with it (its fun to do anyway), get your sounds, and enjoy.

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

I bought this to replace a big, heavy tube head and have no regrets. It weighs virtually nothing, is loud enough for almost any gig, and with two RS212 cabs you have a set up which will do anything from small rehearsals (using one cab) to big club gigs using both cabs in a stack.

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

I've been using a tc electronic classic 450, which is a great head. I just wanted a little more power, plus the built in tuner is a nice touch. I love the rh750. I play professionally in several different situations, from a county band to a small jazz trio. I use various combinations of cabinets. Either one or two Aguilar gs 112's, a 210 tc cab, and even a 110 bag end. For electric or upright.. The rh750 kills

May be more than you need

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

First off I have to say this is a very versitle bass head. Lots of tonal adjustability, which may be the only issue I can see with this amp. There is a preset adjustability, then final adjustability for the main's. Other than that you can dial in whataver sound you need, thankfully there are presets, so once you find a good sound you can save it. The built in tuner is nice as well. It took a week or so of adjusting this head to find some truly good sounds, the tweetertone is nice when paired with a TCE Bass cabinet. There is a lot to like about this piece, seems solid, extremely lightweight.

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

I don't think I've ever heard a bass amp this good. Small and lightweight. Cable that came with it didn't work. Plastic input jack seems to be weakest link. There was a crunching sound when I first plugged into the amp. Other than that, the amp exceeds expectations in every way. Plays great at any volume. TC Electronics makes a great gig bag that holds the amp and the foot controller but MF doesn't sell it. You'll have to shop elsewhere to find it, as I have done.

By far the Best Class D Bass amp

              By Brian Randall

              from texas

Comments about TC Electronic RH750 750W Bass Amp Head:

I've owned a few amps over the years and this is by far the best I've plugged into! A few years back I made the move to class D amps from the big heavy tube and hybrid amps. Mostly due to living in Europe where cars are smaller, and clubs are more difficult to load into. Prior to purchasing the RH 750, I owned a Carvin BX500 which was lightweight and had a very respectable sound. Unfortunately, the first one i had burned out due to a known problem with their logic boards....the replacement burned out about a year later. So, one week prior to a gig, I did my research and this TC rh750 was an unbelievably good choice. The ability to dial up any tone you want, the ability to set up presets so you can change tone on the fly (especially with the optional RC4 remote stomp) was especially attractive. For the first gig I plugged the head directly into the venue's sound system and was blown away with the sound. For later gigs I plugged into the TC electronics RS 210 and RS212 cabinets. There is more volume than you could ever use on a stage! For once i can completely drown out my guitarist and drummer with a small tweak of the volume dial! You cannot go wrong with this amp - Power, tone control, sleek slim and lightweight, with tons of features too numerous to list...i LOVE this amp!
