Comments about TC Electronic K212 2x12 400W Bass Cabinet:

I play professionally 4-6 times a week at varying venues. I got this cabinet as a bridge between my Carvin MB210 combo and my Accugroove El Whappo for medium size club gigs. This cab more than does the job. Clear and loud. Sounds good with all my 5 and 6 string basses. I've paired this cab with a Little Mark Bass Tube 800.

Comments about TC Electronic K212 2x12 400W Bass Cabinet:

I was not looking for any cabs as I already own 2 TCE RS210 cabs and a GK NEO 410 but after trying it out, I had to purchase it. Matter of fact, it sounded so good, I purchased 2 of them. The exterior tolex covering looks much better in person than on pictures and also is pretty thick. According to the TCE website, these cabs have a "punchy response, crisp clarity and commanding low-end" and I have to agree with them. I have owned 15's and 10's but never 12's, these and the GK NEO 212 cabs have seriously earned my respect. The cabs are quite a bit longer, deeper, and larger than expected so short trips are fine but do get heavy and cumbersome on longer walk ins. In comparison with the RS210 cabs, the K212 has a deeper low end and very crisp high end which add to them being very articulate while the RS seems more smooth and punchy and also articulate. But don't think they don't punch cause they kick hard, not as punchy but definitely louder, fuller and you will feel each note. I would say that both cabs together stacked vertically get somewhere into the 610/810 volume and feel territory. I have used them on several shows already and 1 was a very large stage. I ran my TCE RH450 with the gain at about 10:30, EQ flat, Spectracomp at 9:00 and Master volume at 1:00 and these cabs were kicking like a mule. At first I though I might need the RH750 or BH800 for that stage but with these cabs, The RH450 was more than enough. The only thing some may frown upon may be the lack of a tweeter adjustment, but I have not experienced any issue with that. The tweeters sound really good and add to the cabs articulation. In conclusion, I am very happy with these cabs. They are beautiful, loud, clear sounding and an easier load in than a 215 or 810.
