Overview

The TC XII Phaser effect pedal can be used in numerous ways ” from clean funky chords over overdriven riffs to heavily saturated leads. Its 4-8-12 filter selector offers you a variety of settings radically altering the phasing from wild lo-fi retro to pure grandiosity and back.

The swirly effect from the sixties just keeps popping up in all kinds of genres and productions. From acid rock over early hard-rock to funky beats of the seventies and further to the many contemporary styles that really know their roots; - the phaser is ever so popular and a simple must in any guitar rig.

The Classic Phaser with the 4/8/12 filter styles combined with the unique peak to notch function will match all your craving for phasing sounds - and deliver them straight "in your face"!

The unsurpassed sound quality of the TC XII Phaser has made it a true classic among vintage pedal collectors.

While other effects may sometimes be used to add subtle and almost inaudible nuances to your tone, the TC XII Phaser guitar pedal never leaves you in doubt whether or not it is on.

Controls

Filters: Select between 4, 8 or 12 filters. The higher amount of filters used in a phaser, the smoother and thicker the sound.

LFO Speed: Sets the general speed of the phasing effect.

Width: Determines the width of the frequency sweep. A wider sweep will make the turning points of the sweep less obvious.

Function: From peak to notch. Use this control to select between and set the intensity of either a negative (notch) or positive sweep (peak). Peak is the phaser type most commonly used as a guitar effect. Notch type is more subtle. As always : experiment and select the type that suits your particular application best.
