      TC Electronic PolyTune Noir (H89526)

Supercool features squarely aimed at getting into tune and back to rocking ASAP

Tuning used to be a necessary evil. The last barrier before you could get truly rocking. But now, tuning is ready to get blasted into the 21st century with PolyTune, the stomp-box sized tuning miracle from TC Electronic!

Polyphonic Tuning Couldn’t Be Done - Until TC Electronic Did It
With PolyTune, you simply strum all strings on your guitar or bass at once, and it will immediately tell you which strings need tuning! It really is as simple as strum - tune - rock, and this quantum leap forward allows you to get in tune fast, and back to doing what you love: playing!

Tuning Modes
With modes ranging from Drop D, five semitones flat and capo tuning on frets 1-7 gives you the freedom to do what you want creatively and know PolyTune has your back.

Old Skool - Still Cool
You want a chromatic tuner? You got it! PolyTune features MonoPoly a technology that allows PolyTune to detect whether you play one or multiple strings and react lightning by changing to chromatic mode if that's what you need. Our chromatic tuner is second to none when it comes to accuracy and speed.

Backstage Pass - All Access
PolyTune's features are supercool and squarely aimed at getting in into tune and back to rocking ASAP.

Tuning Magnet
The tuner magnet feature slows down the needle once you get close to the desired pitch, making it much easier to get the job done quickly.

MonoPoly is a jaw-dropping new technology that recognizes whether you play one or more strings and instantly replies with the appropriate poly- or monophonic tuning mode.

Total Recall
PolyTune stores your preferences. From pitch reference to tuning mode, it hangs on to this information even after it is powered down, making sure you only have to set how you want things to happen once.

What is the Matrix?
PolyTune features 17 rows of LEDS which allow for a higher resolution and the LEDs themselves are super bright and focused to ensure optimal visibility at all times.

True Bypass
This allows for your carefully sculpted tone to flow unaffected when the pedal is bypassed and for silent tuning once engaged.

Chromatic Champ
Besides the Polyphonic tuner, PolyTune has a chromatic tuner that can hang with the best current tuning technology out there, with an amazing 0.5 cent accuracy.

PolyTune: Strum – Tune – Rock!
PolyTune is the world’s first polyphonic tuner – a multiple patents pending, game-changing total tuning turnaround that allows you to instantly gauge the tuning of all your strings simultaneously and tune up on the fly, all strings at once. What else can be said besides: BAM, son!

  • TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini-Tuner

As reviewed by Robert Gilbert on 4/26/2013

Save room on your effects board, save a buck or two on a TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini-Tuner. Miniature size is half the width of a standard Boss-sized pedal, slightly less in length as well. Nice black powder-coated exterior presents a sleek and classy look to your effects board. Caveat is that this pedal is 9 VDC center-tip-negative powered only; the small size does not allow for an internal 9V battery. No problem, the benefits outweigh the negative aspects, and the small size allows for greater flexibility regards measurement constraints on your effects board.

  • Perfect for the crowded board

As reviewed by Thomas Lindsey on 11/21/2013

I have used the full size Polytune for quite a while now, and while my board is not too crowded, I though that it would be nice to just have a great bit of breathing room. This works in the same manner as the full size version, and I couldn't be happier about that. No issues with this at all. Maybe it's no big deal, but I wish that the serial number was on the side, or inside the case, as I always hate to cover that with velcro in case there's an issue. Use better velcro on this, the stuff from TC always seems to be a bit weak IMO. Quiet, small, practical, who would have thought that a tuner is such a big deal?

  • Sweet

As reviewed by Aaron Clark on 10/24/2012

This Pedal is a Steal, I had given my old Polytune mini to a friend and was looking to get a new one real soon anyway. When I jumped on TC's Website and saw this beautiful pedal I thought "what better time to get one." the BLACK finish for me sealed the Deal!
