  • Good results can be had

    Over the last five years my Finalizer Express provided good A/D conversion, flexable banded mastering compression, and the method to interface with a variety of digital equipment. There are live sound benefits also. I found exciter processed inputs can give some harsh outputs, but very good results are possible.

  • Expensive but worth every cent!

    Leave it to TC Electronics to provide another must have item. This is a very nice unit to use if you need to master a project in your home studio. You can boost and cut signals over 3 bands with the units spectral balance controls. If you don?t want to master with software this may be the product for you. The unit has 25 presets which are very usable for a variety of projects (I recommend testing them all for yourself). This is an excellent unit to have and I highly recommend it!

    This thing is real easy to use and did make my final mix much more commercial sounding. It is basically a fancy compressor that really evened everything out. It also added a bit of warmth to the overall mix. When I first started using it, the gain reduction meters were not moving at all and although I could tell that it was working, it sounded muddy. So, I turned up the input along with the normalizer until the gain reduction meters starting lighting up and then I heard a much better sound. I continued to tweak a little and now I have a very professional sounding recording. Get one!
