With the boost engaged, it is capable of unleashing the most in-your-face fuzz mania by adding a subharmonic beneath the selected fuzz setting. Great for alt rock. Unlike most distortions, Mudhoney is able to maintain a tight bottom end, even in the most extreme settings. The volume is unity gain in the 12 o'clock position and provides up to 3dB of boost. Handcrafted. 2-year unconditional warranty.

Comments about T-Rex Engineering Mudhoney Distortion Pedal:
it sounds as i stated overdrive if your looking for any kind of modern distortion this is not for you. sounds amazing through any tube amp i find that solid state amps tend to not take it well and tend to be very harsh sounding with higher gain settings. i dont know why they have it listed under " low end stays tight even in the most extreme settings" IT DOES NOT at higher gain settings the fuzz takes over. but with that said thats the point of this pedal a fuzzy overdrive/distortion. this pedal has the ablitity to be transparent as a booster, something not even the great ts808 can say.It has all the crunchy tones you would ever want out of an overdrive. also sounds amazing with the gain around 11 and the level around 3 before your amps distortion makes everything tighten up. the tone knob is pretty unique in that no matter what way you turn it it does not affect the low end, at first i wasnt sure about it but i havent found a bad sound out of it yet. This pedal has a lot of lowend and can get out of hand at its highest gain settings.Very very solid pedal, all metal click free switch 3 simple controls to great tone, well worth the money. as with all music equipment TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT
