hi,i have a 60's era(not a re-issue)all stock marshall 100 watt superlead with theas tubes i can easaly get any tone from ac/dc to the beatles,classic rock jimmy page/carlose santana style bluse and all points in-betwien.I use an epiphone les paul with an angus young signatuer pickup in the bridge and a seymor duncan perly-gates as the nech pickup with only to pedals (1) a vintage usa made ross flanger(2)an electro-harmonix english muff'n tube overdrive pedal (witch i only use the overdrive to help boost the amp at low volumes as the amp is so LOUD it rattles thing of my walls on 1, and as with all tube amps it sounds best around 4 to 5 at five im getting grate ac/dc tone no problem without the muff'n with just my guitar and the amp around 3 or 5 i can get any tone imaginable and just fine tune it with my guitars volume nob/pickup selector.
