Overview

The Suzuki Promaster Valved Harmonica is a 10-hole diatonic built with the same precision as the standard Promaster. This revolutionary harmonica features precision crafted reed plates for easy note bending and phosphor bronze reeds. The draw cycle valve system circulates air to allow note bending in the blow as well as the draw cycle. Its note bending abilities will make your music magical! Comes with a soft lined hardshell carrying case.

Valves-also known as windsavers-are typically used in chromatic harmonicas to prevent air from going into the reed that is not being played. For example, air from a blow reed does not escape through the slit for the draw reed. On a diatonic harmonica, valves make it more airtight and it becomes easier to bend the lower blow notes and upper draw notes by focusing more of the air to a single reed.

I play in a blues band, I just played it with the band in a practice session , and found this to be my favorite harp that I have ever owned. I've been playing harmonica for over 40 years and have many different brands and styles

Comments about Suzuki Promaster Valved Harmonica:

As much as you read here this harmonice doesn't really bend on the draw as a Special 20. That said...it'll bend pretty easily on the lower holes on the blow. Gives for some interesting things you can do with it.

I have Quiet A Few Harps Laying Around Here, That I Play. This Is The 1st Promaster Harp I Ever Bought, From Day One I Shoulda Returned It "Cause The 6th Hole Was Out Of Tune, I Just Put Her Back In The Case & Decided To Stay With My Hohners. Although I Love The Rich Sounds

This is very nice I also got a Hohner blues band harmonica with some instructional music. The Hohner dont compare feels like a toy compared to this. can wait to make it talk and sing , it will be sweet and smooth

Comments about Suzuki Promaster Valved Harmonica:

I bought 3 Sazuki harmonicas, the Pro master valved, the Firebreath and the Manji. The Pro Master is the only one I would recommend. It is a very heavy harmonica and has great tone, especially when chording. It bends well and seems very good quality.

However, for the price I will by Hohner crossover or golden melody next time.

Plays well out of the box. I played along with someone playing a flute and was so amazed at how great it sounded. The tones blended into a beautiful sound that is hard to describe. I started with one Suzuki Pro Master Valved Harmonica and loved it and now have three. Will probably be more to come.
