Steve Gadd is a legendary session drummer who has worked with Paul Simon, Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Joe Cocker, Bob James, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Manhattan Transfer, James Taylor and many more. He is one of the most recorded drummers in history, playing drums professionally for over 37 years. He provided the groove behind classics like Steely Dan's 'Aja' and Al Di Meolas 'Elegant Gypsy.'
Steve has lent his name to signature drums and cymbals, such as Zildjian's Recording Custom cymbal line as well as his fantastic Yamaha "Steve Gadd" snare.
Originally released as Steve Gadd Drum Scores by Qup Arts, Sonic Reality remastered the sample collection and then Submersible Music added metadata and built MIDI drum kits for easy use in DrumCore.
