Comments about Studiologic VMK-176plus Controller Keyboard:
First off I will say this, this keyboard is built like a tank, it is built exceptionally well. Second is it's feel, it is outstanding. I went through several keyboard controllers until I got the one that felt the best. The first one was CME uf 76 keyboard controller, about 15 of the metal plates underneath the keys to give it its semi weighted feel came unglued, decent feel, but not great, dont waste your time. The next one was m-audio keystation88 great midi features, horrible feel, very cheap. Dont bother again. Next came the Studiologic VMK-176plus WOW!!! very well made, awesome feel. I have not delved to deep into the midi specs so far, I have been just so occupied with just playing this controller with my ArtVista VST piano, that I have not wanted to delve into the midi implementation as of yet. A true sign of a great instrument I think....One that makes you NOT want to put it down. I love this thing ALOT. And it's fully weighted graded hammer action 76 KEYS!!!!!!! I will keep you posted on the midi specs as soon as I delve into it. But to be honest It would not even matter if the midi implementation fell short. The feel alone is worth the price of admission...
