The Studio RTA Mix Station is a lightweight yet sturdy desk with a space-saving slide-out keyboard tray. 6-space rack built into upper tier doubles as a monitor or equipment stand. Wood construction. Includes cable management system and locking wheels.
So I finally got my budget together to get sime studio furniture. So did so online research you cannot find a better value for money 6 U recording desk with flip out tray better than this for double the price. All you need is matching monitor stands and this turns out to be a great looking piece plus it's a solidly built product and comes handy with simple instructions and a numbered screws and bolt kit. Give yourself at least 2 hours to assemble this baby though cause there about 60 screws and bolts to go through which you definately going to need an electronic screwdriver for. However great the workmanship was on this desk be aware that I bought this desk on February 25 on Fedex lost the desk so I only received my desk on March 11 cause they didn't have the cherry wood finish in stock. Sad to say Guitar Center, Knoxville really only started to put some serious pressure on Fedex after they passed the buck for a week blaming each other until I had to get fired up and almost rude with both Fedex and Guitar Center after being way too "Tennessee polite". So although I ended up finally getting my desk it wasn't without conjuring up some "New York Bronx" attitute.

This is a great small desk for the money. I purchased the cherry finish which I think looks a lot nicer than the natural finish. 6-space rack, monitor shelf, room for studio monitors, and a keyboard drawer. Hard to find small studio furniture with all of those attributes. If you're looking for something bigger with more rack space, the producer's station is what you're looking for. But if you need a small desk with a lot of features and a good sized work space, this is the one you want. Can't beat it for the price!

This desk is great for small home studios and those new to recording. I had a hard time finding an inexpensive desk with rack space, a monitor shelf, and a keyboard drawer. This unit fits my needs exactly. The monitor shelf is a bit high, but I angle my monitor down and it doesn't bother me at all. The desk surface provides a lot of space for notes or even a table top mixer or keyboard. Very easy to assemble, and the casters are come in handy when I need to change a connection in the back. Also, the "cable control" panel in the back for hiding cables and wires is a nice touch. At some point I will need to move to something with more rack space, but this desk will last me quite some time.

The RTA Mix Station is cool for a small home studio where not a lot of equipment is used. I started of small and this desk was very helpful for my computer use and mixing. As my equipment grew this desk was more in the way than helpful. In my opinion I would start a little bigger because as your music grows so does your equipment.

I just started home computer recording and I needed something that looks professional and is not too wide. Assembly was easy. Has a large slide out for computer keyboard with enough room for a mouse pad. On the table has enough room for an electronic keyboard. Has a sturdy rack. The shelf for a monitor is a little higher than normal, but you get used to it and it helps for others to view. Great wood grain finish.
