Attitude in a pedal.
It's black. It's a distortion pedal. It has gothic script on it. It's called Black Distortion. So what do you suppose it sounds like? A fetid bog of damned souls writhing in eternal mortification? A horde of Cossacks thundering down on horses from the steppes to lay waste to a village? Yeah, something like that. The controls are Volume, which serves as a boost when the pedal is engaged, Low and High to adjust the EQ character of the signal, Scale, which shifts the entire spectrum of sound toward bassy or bright, and of course, Gain. The gain knob adjusts precisely how much flesh-rending, bone-jarring, teeth-gnashing distortion from the sulphurous pits of the netherworld your signal will have. This is a first-rate distortion pedal, oriented toward the heaviest of the heavy. Black metal. Black. Metal.
