This Wooden Wall Hanger features an adjustable yoke width in order to accommodate acoustic or electric guitars, and mandolins. The yoke pivots to cradle the guitar or mandolin's headstock and keeper rings are included to keep the instrument from slipping off the bars. The wood mounting block is made of real hardwood.
The mandolin/guitar wall hanger kit also comes with a foam Wall Bumper to prevent your instrument from banging against the wall when you hang it up.

Used to hang a guitar in my son's room. Very easy to install. Keeps the guitar far enough from wall the bumper isn't really necessary but added anyway. Only complaint is the bumper would not stick to wall with provided tape, put a screw through it.
Although the basses I hang onto these wall hangers don't come anywhere near touching the walls, I opted to get the bumpers "just in case'. The hangers themselves went up in minutes and am comfortable saying they can easily hold a bit more than their rating of 15 lbs. Can't say the same for the bumpers. After placing the bumper on the wall, the bumper departed from the foam tape and fell to the floor with the tape still stuck firmly to the wall. Thinking the foam tape was old stock or dried out, I replaced it with a piece of new foam tape the entire length of the bumper (as opposed to the 1 sq. inch that was supplied) and within 24 hours, it too gave way. There seems to be something in the makeup of the rubber that doesn't allow anything to stick to it.
I bought and installed 10 String Swing Wood Guitar Wall Hangers and they work well. I was lucky to have the screws reach studs and my son with Popeye forearms powered them in. So they hold not only acoustic guitars but also solid body electric and bass. The bumpers were useless. The tape didn't work and alternative two sided tape didn't work any better. But it's nice to get all those guitars out of the closet and taking up floor space.
The wallmount seems strong and well put together. My only complaint is I did not realize how far out from the wall it hung so I would have bought the version without the stand off.
I bought two of the String Swing wooden guitar wall hangers. I'm very pleased with them. They're well made and easy to install. The drywall anchors are self tapping (no drilling necessary) and plenty strong enough to hold any acoustic guitar (provided you don't let the kids use it for a swing). They have a professional appearance and look like they will last a long time.
Bought 3 of these. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, and they look good doing it. I hung an acoustic, a strat, and a heavy Les Paul. Wall studs were not in the right places, so I screwed all 3 hangers into the drywall using the anchors provided. The hangers are very secure. The drywall anchors work fine if you are careful with them. Drill a small pilot hole first, screw them in slowly and firmly, and don't overtighten.
