I purchased this because I didn't want another flat black metal stand and like the wood stain of this one. It is very easy to assemble and takes less than ten minutes. The stand is sturdy, even on the thick carpet floor I have it standing on. The padding is excellent for protecting your instrument. However, it is rubber and I am concerned that over time it will degrade like some other stands cushion/padding and cause sticking and discoloration. I use this stand to hold six bass electric bass guitars and it easily holds my Jazz, P-Bass, Music Man and Thunderbird body styles. The only drawback to this stand is that if you want to use every slot, they tend to put the instruments close and if you have a sloping headstock, you can't place it against a flat one. Overall, I am satisfied with this stand.

I bought this product to house 1 acoustic, 2 electrics and an electric bass. They all do fit on the stand. That is about as good as this stand gets though. When I first assembled by instructions the stand would not stay upright. I drove the last screw in and it was still leaning backwards without even any guitar weight on it. I drove two extra screws in and that seems to have stabilized it. The stand is at a pretty severe angle so it has to be a pretty good distance from the wall. It's not the best space saver and still doesn't feel very sturdy. I will be switching to a different stand. Just not worth the risk given the value of the guitars leaning on it.

Comments about String Swing Side-Loading Inline Guitar Rack:

This guitar rack works well. It was easy to put together and holds up to six guitars, which is great considering its actual dimensions. The instruments sit on less of an angle so the depth needed is far less than other racks. The rubber on the bottom and top are what sold me. My guitars stay in place and that rubber is better than the foam I've seen on other, similar products. The piece as a whole wobbles a bit if you sort of prod it on the left and right, but I did put it together hastily so it's probably not a design defect as much as me needing to tighten some screws/redistribute the weight of the guitars across the rack differently. Additionally, the materials seem to be of fair quality and it isn't an eyesore. No complaints.

This is used in a small recording studio control room. I didn't want something that looks like it just came off the road. This wooden guitar stand holds 6 guitars securely with a small footprint. Works and looks great. Easy to assemble as well.

Easy to assemble with a small footprint for what it holds, currently holding one arch top and five electric basses.

Pretty okay, with a caveat for acoustic players

Comments about String Swing Side-Loading Inline Guitar Rack:

Nice workmanship, assembles easily. Be aware that the spacing is insufficient for 6 acoustic guitars - you could get at most 4 standard-sized acoustic guitars on this rack, and that's a little crowded - three if they're deep-bodied instruments like a D-28 or a J-200
