I have always had a problem of keeping my guitar out of reach of...ones who needn't touch it. I wanted a wall hanger, but then I saw THIS. It is perfect. It's so sturdy and I feel assured that my guitar is safe when I hang it up. If I could give this 6 stars, I would.
There may be more complicated ways to display guitars horizontally, but the String Swing is the best for the price. The guitar will not go anywhere if this is screwed into a stud. Holds my Les Paul and Strat without any concerns. Unlike others you'll find on the web that are for display purposes only, you can grab the axe easily to play and safely put it back up like you would any floor stand. Nice foam pads over bolts and rubber cradle to prevent scratches. Great product.
This was easy to install and looks way better than simply hanging my guitars vertically by the neck. I would definitly recommend mounting into a stud and using a longer screw than the ones provided, just for peace of mind.
