  • Love this thing!

    I bought one of these when they first came out a few years ago. I was skeptical about it but I have been pleasantly surprised with it's performance. It's not as easy as a strobe or normal tuner to use but those require you to turn the tuner pegs to set the pitch. This thing turns the tuner pegs for you! It does require some practice to get the knack of using it but once you've learned how to do it you will love it. You have to pluck the correct string that matches the tuner peg you have it on or it will go crazy trying to tune the wrong string! I use it mostly on my electric-acoustic because I rarely have it plugged into an amp (my Fender amp has a tuner built in for my solid body's but this works for those also.) Also works when you can't see a regular tuner in a dark club etc. Love it!

  • Quick and easy

    this is great for quick tuning. I only had one instance with it not tuning one string and it was resolved when I set it in manual mode to tune the string then worked everytime after not sure what the glitch was caused by. As far as not having enough power to turn the keys. Well when I fIrst got mine I had the same problem and my first thought was I got ripped off and was going to send it back. But after calming down I put a fresh battery in it and it worked!! This thing has alot of torque so naturally it needs good batteries to turn it.

  • Does not Work

    I returned teh first one thinking it was defective, but the second has the same problem. They dont have enough power to turn the tuners. It spins like a champ when it's on it's own, as soon as I placed it on the tuner it stopped dead. Replaced the battery several times to no avail. Did not work on accoustic or electric.
