Best Tuner Ever

I can't believe I ever lived without a robotic guitar tuner. If this thing had been around when I was learning to play I would have become a much better player. This is the most accurate tuner I have ever used. And the best part is it tunes the guitar for me. Of course it's better... no human error.

Hard to believe, but it works!

I just got the String Master Robotic Tuner, and was a bit skeptical. Initially, it took forever to get a string in tune, and I was getting impatient and tired. The battery seemed to be about worn out, so I put in a DURACELL brand, and the thing took off! Suddenly, the tuning pegs were moving! Incredibly, it was spot-on in tune! To use it on an acoustic guitar, you need an adapter, sold separately, for about $13.00, which I believe is only available from the manufacturer. It would be very nice if they came out with one that would work with a 12-string guitar. I don't know enough about bass to know if it would work with one or not, but at this point, probably not, since the tuning pegs on a bass would seem to be too big for the unit to fit over. All in all I'm glad I bought it. Tuning is now practically idiot-proof (which I desperately needed...). Just remember, use a good quality battery, like a DURACELL. The first one I used was a Panasonic, and it did not do the job.

Works a heck of a lot better than you'd think...

Amazingly, it knows enough to figure out all on its own which way to turn the string to make it higher, and which way makes it lower. That's worth the price of admission, right there. It can take 20 or 30 seconds to get a string dialed in just right, and like any tuner you might have to go across the board twice. But what you'll get is a perfect, seriously perfect, tune. We're talking just exactly right. If you struggle with tuning, or if your ear is more sensitive than your eyes and fingers, this may be for you.

Best Tuner Ever Made

In my 30 years of playing guitar I never imagined such an animal. This is every guitar player's dream. I read about it in several of the guitar magazines but still didn't think it would work. Boy was I wrong. If this thing had been around when I first started playing I would have become a much better player. There's nothing like a guitar in perfect pitch. It tunes fast, easy and perfect. What else can I say, this thing is amazing.
