  • Sounds Awesome for a Lower Price

As reviewed by Matt on 4/2/2011

This Sterling by Music Man sounds awesome! Plus, its a nicer and more "cheaper" priced. I've played this bass before and it is so loud. i've seen it play at a Bible College before and i could hear it from the back row. AMAZING!

  • utter perfection

As reviewed by Brad on 8/19/2011

for a starter 5 string i was absolutely amazed. i didn't know what i was getting into, but this bass opened my eyes to the opportunities of what can be created with a little lower end. it's absolutely perfect. all the trimmings are smooth and subtle. the neck is thin, but it doesn't feel flimsy, the pickup is amazing. it sounds just.. perfect. BUY THIS BASS!!!

  • Awesome bass for great price

As reviewed by RabidBassMan on 4/19/2010

I am very impressed with this bass. I have always loved the Music Man Sting Ray basses. They have the best sound and most power that I have ever heard. The problem was always the price. Now they make the Sterling. This is an awesome bass comparable to it's more expensive brother. I love having the preamp equalizer's, it makes changing the sound and feel easier. But the best part is when I plug it in to my amp and turn it to full volume, it rattles the whole building.
