The Truth

By JG

Comments about Sterling Audio ST79 Multi-Pattern FET Studio Condenser Mic:

Sterling Audio is underestimated. This microphone is easily compared for the Neumann mics and for the price it's more than worth it. I use this mic for vocals, it brings my vocals the best clarity and presence on my mix than any other mic that I've ever used. The highs and lows are perfect and it's multipatterned so you have more recording options. I've been using it for months now and I am more than happy about this mic, almost feel like I stole it for the price. I immensely recommend this mic. It's a 10/10.

Go-to mic

Comments about Sterling Audio ST79 Multi-Pattern FET Studio Condenser Mic:

This microphone looks and performs great. It allows people without acoustically treated rooms to record without worrying about random noises from cars or fans to get into the mix (filter switch), lets you choose between 3 different patterns and has a db pad. The vocals are warm and silky, rivaling the sound of much more expensive mics. It comes with it's own shock mount and pop filter. You will not regret your purchase!

Too Great For Words

By Versy

Comments about Sterling Audio ST79 Multi-Pattern FET Studio Condenser Mic:

I've been wanting to buy this mic for about a year and a half now, but for the price it was being sold for in the past was out of my price range, but when i saw that the price drop on the mic i quickly jumped on it with no hesistation. i've always read good reviews about this mic, so i had to see for myself. i'm running my Sterling Audio ST79 through a presonus eureka along with using the the gate from a dbx 266XL with a beringer xenyx mixer. Might i say that this mic sounds very great, crisp, clean vocals and has proven to me that it's quality was worth the wait. i recently purchased a Blue Bluebird mic, which gave me great clarity as well, but not as much as this warm sounding ST79 mic. The vocals in my mix are undefinetly at their best and for the genre i'm an artist/engineer in, it's great because the vocals are full and i don't have much to tweak while mastering. Overall a great mic....
