  • Under priced, High quality without sacrificing the sensativityand ruggedness of this pair!

I have been in studios with Neuman 400's in the 80's, it was the premium recording mic then!! But this pair of mic's are AWSOME, I play acoustc guitar and sing. Granted the 50 is intended for the studio with its Omni Directional pattern (Feedback problem in live situation with any volume) but the little 30 is Great in Mic'ing my Mossman and Taylor!! and feed back wasn't a problem!! Have a Dean Markley in hole Ive used for a long time but the combination of the, two gives me that acoustic sound was looking for, I finally heard the pic hitting the strings, the actual wood sound of my guitars! I was in sound heaven the first night I used them.

The sp50 sounds ok i guess. I recorded some brass instruments on it and overall gave a good sound. As for the sp30 personally i think it doenst sound very good. The feel of the mic itself feels preety crappy. So the sp50 is a good to go but about the sp30 hmm...sounds like crap.
