This little box has helped me threw thick and thin it has never let me down. Its small and you can fit it anywhere. There is no problems, well so far that I have bought the product. My condenser mics work awesome. If you needed phantom power for just one mic for recording acoustic or vocals this is the way to go.
I had purchased a Sterling ST31 condenser mic to capture ambient noise for my multitrack recorder. The PHP1 allows me to have an independant mic, apart from the mixer. It allows me to experiment more with my recordings. I think the PHP1 is a great piece of equipment for anyone into recording. Well worth the money.
Works as advertised, but for less money (from other stores) you can get multi-voltage units. And it would be nice to have an off switch. Not uncommon tho.
