The Steinberg Key is the key to Steinberg's world of professional audio tools. The purchase of this license key is required to run any of the Steinberg VST instruments released after 1st January 2005, as these products will not contain a USB hardware protection device. Users already using a USB dongle-protected Steinberg product are not required to purchase an extra key.The license modules are offered in a DVD package containing the key and a CD-ROM with movies and information about current Steinberg products.   • Works Like a Charm

    If you need a new key, this will do the job wonderfully! These things are pretty impossible to break by normal wear and tear, but if you do find yourself in need of a new steinberg key, pick one of these up without hesitation! Licenses are fairly easy to transfer, and steinberg actually has pretty good customer service.

  • Two or more are better then one

    When using multiple Steinberg applications and hardware taking the master key on the road left my studio off line and other users disappointed until I returned. Now with multiple keys and the new e-licensers ability to drag and drop licenses between DAW?s and other keys, it makes it easer to go on the road and only take the licenses that I need. The other keys can stay in studio for others to use. If you?re constantly swapping your keys from one DAW to another this product is a must.
