a good buy

By Candyman

from Corpus Christi, Tx

I bought this for my dj rig and i turned out to be a good mixer for the price although i do miss the "peak" lights to match the output of the song playing (on cd) to the song coming up, ill play one song the even though the slides and gain are set the same, the next song will either blast out or play too soft.i have to compare both songs through the headphones and guess more or less how to set the slide for the next song. otherwise, this is a supurb sounding little piece of work. beat mixing is easy with the tone knobs going all the way down to an heard of -26 dB making the highs, mids, or lows dissappear allowing for the next song to fill the void. the mic section is good. and with the stanton 2000 headphones, WOW!! the sound is great. the 3 band eq is tuned to "pleasant" ear friendly frequencies. if you can afford a mixer with "peak" lights go for it, otherwise, if you know your music, this is a high output mixer that made me want to mix all night long.
