  • good but

As reviewed by Steve on 5/12/2011

The cartridge is good if you just want to listen to music but when it comes to scratching its pretty bad because when you scratch its most likely going to skip I suggest you buy a diffrent cartridge.

  • good and cheap

As reviewed by Trent on 10/6/2008

Very rugged design; Stanton has long used a retractile stylus assembly design that protects the cantilever and stylus from excessive downward and even lateral forces. Leaping cats and fumble-fingered or drunk friends haven't hurt it. The .7 mil stylus is a good compromise for a mixed collection of older mono and newer mono and stereo albums. Pleasing sound quality with good stereo separation and clear, full-bodied, dynamic response. The heavier-tracking, conical stylus negotiates even old, beat-up, bargain-bin albums with reduced noise and distortion.
