Under the Radar

Comments about Stagg DH Dual-Hammered Exo Medium Thin Crash Cymbal:

Do not pass on these cymbals just because they aren't youre average "top of the line" cymbal. I own the 16, 17 & 18 inch DH Crashes as well as a splash and they sound remarkable. The sound of these cymbals are comparable to any of the"name brand" cymbals. I've owned mine for @ 4 months. They've held up great! The sound of these cymbals cut through just right. The 18inch is my personal favorite. I love the wahsy undertones. Very professional and warm sounding. My suggestion would be to get these cymbals while they are relatively cheap on the market before they go up due to demand. These cymbals are worth every penny and more. Good product Stagg! I'm looking forward to owning a DH Ride Cymbal next. Hop on the bandwaggon guys these cymbals are legit!!!!!!!

Comments about Stagg DH Dual-Hammered Exo Medium Thin Crash Cymbal:

Very impressive sound for the price. I have played several brands over the last 10 years, from Sabian and Zildjian to Meinl and Paiste. This was the first time I have tried a Stagg and I was instantly impressed. The 17" has a quick, crisp response with a shimmering, short to medium decay. I removed a Sabian AAX Xplosion crash to have this cymbal on my kit. DH cymbals are very affordable alternatives to the bigger companies and have equal quality sound. Only time will tell with durability.

Comments about Stagg DH Dual-Hammered Exo Medium Thin Crash Cymbal:

I would say use it as a back up cymbal, not really as your main cymbal. Even though it does sounds great, it doesn't have the sound you would want from a cymbal that you want hit one good time and it'll just sound terrific for the moment.

Comments about Stagg DH Dual-Hammered Exo Medium Thin Crash Cymbal:

So I normally use Zildjian custom A cymbals but I cracked my 16" and was lite on cash so I read reviews on this cymbal and decided to try it out. Very happy. Nice sound and so far durable. Less than half the price of a Zildjian. I would buy more Stagg cymbals for sure.
