  • OK for beginners

As reviewed by Nate C on 7/10/2009

these are great cymbals if your a beginner or you dont have a lot of cash but it has a very cheap sound like metal garbage can lids but over all they sound like sheetmetal getting hit which is alright depending on what music you play

  • Not worth the money

As reviewed by Mike on 11/20/2009

I recently bought a used kit from an individual, and with this kit there were 2 Stagg crashes, 2 Zildjian ZBT crashes, and 1 Zildjian ZBT ride. After getting it home, I soon realized that the Stagg crashes were cheaply made, and they sounded cheap - like hitting metal trash can lids. I will be replacing the Stagg cymbals very soon! Do yourself a favor, spend a little extra money and get something that sounds good, otherwise you won't enjoy playing.
