Overview

Squier presents one of its most distinctive instruments ever in the deeply resounding form of the Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster. Tuned A to A and featuring a 30" scale length, it lends a rumbling baritone register of notes.

This Jazzmaster features the authentic vintage-style look of Fenders seldom-seen Antigua finish, with a matching pickguard. Fingerboard binding and white pearloid block inlays impart even more elegance and that deep one-of-a kind twang rocks loud and clear from a pair of Dual Duncan Designed single-coil Jazzmaster pickups.

Explore new depths with vibe that is as affordable as it is striking. All together, the Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster makes for a singularly exciting Squier playing experience. Case sold separately.

Comments about Squier Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster Electric Guitar:

First of all, I bought it somewhere else but it wouldn't have mattered, the fault was Fender, not the seller. The tone was actually very good. The overall quality was terrible, however. It arrived with the tone knob flopping around, which scratched the paint off the pickguard. The pickguard is a one piece white with paint on it, which is fine, but you could see a lot of ripple marks where it should have been a sweeping flow. The paint had a lot of little tiny paint dots in it, looked like a high school project fade job. If this was a 200 dollar Squier, I would say "no big deal" but it isn't, it is one of the more expensive Squiers that just has a slightly longer neck and slightly nicer pickups. For the extra $200, you would think they could get the details better. The neck also looked way better in the pictures and need some tweaking. Instead, I sent it back and looking at other options for a baritone. This is the 3rd Fender product in a row that had major defects for me, right out of the box.

Comments about Squier Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster Electric Guitar:

Sounds soooo cool! I loved the sound from the first chord after tuning and setting up. Super cool. I originally started playing bass guitar and later switched to playing regular guitars, so I appreciate the deep, rich sound on the low end of this guitar. I would have given it a "5-Star" rating, if the pick guard was natural finish and not painted on. I'm afraid that it will start to look pretty ragged after a while from playing hard on this growler of a guitar. Otherwise, the finish is great! Has a clear finish on the back of the neck, which is appreciated, especially on a Squire by Fender. My other Squires are unfinished. This is a great guitar to help round out your arsenal!

Comments about Squier Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster Electric Guitar:

I enjoy this guitar, but at the moment to pick up on laredo Store, I see little pink inblots on the pickguard, and as I traveled from Mexico to get this guitar, I deicide to get anyway no matter the inkblots
