I purchased this guitar in February of 2012 as my first electric guitar. Right out of the box, this thing is exactly what I was hoping for. For a price tag this good, you wouldn't expect it, but this guitar plays like a dream. The only complaint I could possibly think of is that the frets are sticking a little high out of the neck, but it doesn't seem to effect playability, so 5 stars remain.
Awesome guitar, sounds amazing and is awesome for you punk rock fans! I am a huge fan of Sum 41, they have influenced me to start a band. The guitar is just an amazing sounding guitar with a nice smooth curvy body. The wood is nice, it's maple. The red X's symbol means good luck if you guys wanted to know. If I were you I'd buy this guitar.
this guitar is basically a ploy to sell sum 41's image. the guitar in this is basically a tele, with a humbucker on the bridge piece, which you could get a regualr tele, or a tele with dual humbuckers for the same price. Im kind of a sum 41 fan, but this guitar is just too simple, even in REAL punk terms.
I have to tell everybody that it's such a good deal. This Telecaster is an excellent guitar for guitarists at all levels. The guitar has a ultra-cool look, the Strat-neck feels very comfortable in my hand, and the sound is really solid, although there is only one pickup. For punk rock kinda music this is just the right axe. Don't be sceptical because of its brand or price, consider that Deryck Whibley just finished his entire album on this guitar. You'll be proud to own it.
I was expecting this guitar to be preety bad, but when it came in WOW!Was I wrong. It's very nice looking and thsi sound is the best for punk and pop. I told my student about this guitar and they loved it. Buy it.
Its good for intermediate and advanced players just to let you know. It's light weight, nice shape and made out of good wood(maple) and awesome sound. It's Wonderful, buy it if you need a good punk or rock sound guitar thats a good price and feel. P.S i am not a fan of sum 41 and i still love it.
This is the best guitar I own( I own 2 electrics and an acoustic) and has the best sound quality of all of them. It is an amazing guitar and I would recomend it to anyone. Considering Deyrck plays it live it is unbeatable for the price you pay.
This si an awesome guitar. its a good intermediate guitar and maybe even for beginners. this is definatley the best squire ive ever played. it's light-weight and has an awesome tone not like that of other squires. considering Deryck plays this live, one pick-up is enough.
