This guitar is great, it definitely does the job. I am currently teaching myself how to play and have had this guitar for a little over a week. It's fun to play and easy to hold, works perfectly for someone with small hands like me. The tone is great and the pickups are pretty good it also stays in tune really well even after using the whammy bar multiple times. The only issue I have is fret buzz on the 6th string when played open but hey overall it's a good guitar.

The Squier Bullet is a beginner's guitar that only an experienced guitarist should buy. If you already know how to play and know your way around setting up an instrument, tuning, and basic maintenance, this guitar is all right. If you don't, you will hate this guitar and sell it.

Pro's - Pickups sound super bright. Most veteran players think they sound too bright, but many will find them to sound better than more expensive pickups.
Electronics are cheap, but functional. I've used a bullet in a band setting many times and it sounded fine in the mix.
Neck is usable with some work. If you know how to adjust the truss rud and saddles, you will get a decent neck out of a bullet.
The guitar is light and fits most folks bodies well.

Cons:
You will get fret buzz all day on this thing unless you really know how to setup guitars.
The tuners are horrible. If you are really patient and have a good tuner, it is possible to get the guitar in tune, but it won't stay there. This is the worst part about a bullet.
You will likely have sharp edges on the fret ends. Be prepared to have to sand them off.

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster SSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Some tone issues with the knobs, and I wish the pick-ups were more responsive, but what can you expect from a mass made cheap guitar? This is a GREAT first guitar, but if you are an experienced player and want the sea foam green like I got, then I'd save more money and wait for Guitar-a-Thon and get the Ibanez Talman Series TM302M Electric Guitar Sea Foam Green...for anyone who wants a decent practice Strat and doesn't want to pay 1200 dollars this is the best of the squier series.

Santa dropped this off this gem for my son under the Christmas tree. It looks and feels amazing! The sound is great too! I have higher end electric guitars and this affordable product by Fender is nice for the price. Great beginner guitar. Heck, I wouldn't mind having one!

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster SSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I would have given a five but there was a very minor scratch on the pick guard from a loose random tiny screw that had attached itself magnetically to one of the pick ups. but this thing is set up very well, intonated and plays fantastic!

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster SSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Im an LP guy and I do love the Fender guitars, Squire in this case never the less it's a great Axe. I write music and record with this Squire. I love the tone and the way it feels. Very happy I got this with keep it. I don't think it need any mode other than I want to replace the scratch plate with a Pearl plate which will make it look super sweet with the Sea Foam Green.

Really digging this guitar, very pleased with it and I like just the way it is. I've been playing guitars for 40 years, have Gibson, Epiphone, Fender and this Squire is good enough for me. The tone, feel and the awesome SeaFoam Green. Love it!
