For anyone who truly needs a start in the guitar world, this is what you need. I paid $90 for this guitar, brand new, and if you're willing to take care of it, you will find that this guitar will exceed all of your expectations that you would have for a guitar that is less than $200. The tuners and the jack are the only downfall of this guitar but aren't hard to manage. I've had this guitar since September 2013 and plan on keeping it for the rest of my life. The picture of the metallic green one above don't do it justice.
The guitars nowadays are just so well done in constructions compared to a decade ago. Made in China products are not to be disregarded just like that. This guitar is well made, construction, sounds good, and it's more than enough for someone that will start playing the guitar. I love the colors. Pros: well made, sounds good, colors. Cons: the frets sticks out to the arm a little bit.
I have played about 5-6 hours on this guitar so far and absolutely love it! The sound from this guitar is surprisingly great for the price of it. It has a great feel, the set up right out of the box was spot on for what I like and it looks great. The fret bars are a tad larger than what I would prefer but you can't beat it for a $120 guitar. I would recommend this to anyone who is a new player or even an experienced player who wants a cheap Strat sound.
This is what's cool, it's plays great, it looks great especially the 2 tone vintage Brown sunburst finish. It's got an nice Humbucker in the bridge position so no need for routing out the body or the pickguard as it's all ready customized for you. The next thing is it's even got the rosewood skunk stripe going down the middle of the back of the neck. You usually only will find this on the more expensive models of Strat's or Tele's. I'm telling you from being a player for over 50 years in the business that although some may only think that this is a some sort of beginner's type of guitar. They would be dead wrong. If you can play and you need not just an extra guitar that you'll need to have modded and put more money into it because you won't have to do that. This guitar is just the type of super deal that doesn't come to often these days when it comes to getting a great playing guitar for this type of price.
