Purchased this guitar for my son's ninth birthday. He's been playing for a couple of years on an old generic style strat. Guitar Center and Fender delivered on everything promised. The guitar is made well, looks good and is very reasonably priced. My son loves it. I'm sure this guitar will be a benchmark on his trek to be the next Danny Gatton.

I bought this guitar because it was cheap. thats it. I sat down and played it and it isnt the best feeling or sounding intrurment. BUT i put a little elbow grease into it and this is now my favorite guitar i own. i swapped the stock humbuckers with 2 gibson humbuckers, added some copper sheilding and put a Mighty Mite neck on it and this guitar rivals even the best. but i put more than Triple the $$$ into the guitar than what its worth.

Nice Starter Guitar...

By Vaughn A Malveaux

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I bought this bullet HH Strat about a month ago to add to my home studio. So far as I'm learning how to play it I haven't had any problems with it and it sounds great considering the price I paid for it. I would recommend this guitar for anyone who wants to learn how to play guitar or home studio recording..

High Quality, Low Price = Overall Awesomeness.

By Matt Becker

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

The Squier Bullet Strat definitely makes a bang for your buck! Normally, I am an SG only guy but this Strat makes your collection a bit better. Two pickups create a crunch that goes perfect with the ideal combination of a Fender Mustang I amp and a Dunlop Cry Baby wah pedal. For $119, this is the Strat I've ever bought My only complaint about this guitar is that it doesn't go to 11. *** Spinal Tap Reference ***

Great Learner. Smooth Feel.

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Recently purchased a used Bullet. This guitar has a great feel. The tuners are a little difficult to set but seem to stay put. The Body has all the right curves, and the bolt on neck is very nice. I did have some buzzing, but was able to eliminate that within a few minutes. It does feel like it should cost more and I'm definitely glad to have made the purchase.

Black Special Edition Squire

By Romano Verlengia

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Destine to be a collector's item! Everything works, but has a brighter sound then I prefer. The black is shinny, not flat black as it appears in the pictures.

A nice Instrument !

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

My friends, lightweight is a big bonus. Remember, A Gretsch Country gentlemen guitar is very light. That is what gives it the great controlled resonance sound. You don't want to encourage Fender or Squire towards heavy guitars -- they have problems with that as it is. The pickups are fine. With today's electronics these have all the tone you need. Why doubt yourself when the guitar sounds fine? All of my strats are double coil pickups (and no need for that volume control up near the pickup - its in the way - this has been remarked on for decades by some of the best players. Those that want that for volume with the pinky finger are a thin percentage indeed. I don't personally care for the black hardware, but thats just an aesthetic. I am impressed with most of the necks on the Bullet series : good neck style, usually the nut is well done - not always, but they do well at this price. Buy a couple of them, one will be good (smile)

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

i bought this on my 14th birthday, and after it came i tuned it and such. the guitar its self is Very light in my opinion, and the sound/tone is very nice . i haven't had any trouble with the guitar, and it looks really good, and its cheap, so far, it beats my other guitars by a landslide. so this is the best 129 dollars i ever spent.

okay for the price

By Micah

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

i got this guitar for Christmas, and it's okay for the price. for me, this guitar only sounds good with distortion. it's not the best clean. the whole of the guitar is great for the price, but the only things that i would want to replace are the pickups and the tuners. they are not the best, but that's what you get when a guitar cost $99. the neck feels great, it's nice and natural and smooth. this guitar is great for beginners and kids who just want to rock out. the tremolo on this guitar is surprisingly good at least on all the occasions that i use it (i don't use it very much). overall, this guitar is okay for the price, but the tuners and the pickups are where they drop the price.

Great for the price

By RM

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I have been playing guitar on stage, at least once a week, for 20 years. I own three strats. Two are SSS, one is HSS. I have played this guitar. At first feel I noticed that the guitar is very light weight. It doesn't have that traditional strat feel. It feels solid but, too light for a veteran Strat player. Of course, it is a very low cost guitar. The fit and finish is very good for the price range. In fact, just a few short years ago you couldn't touch a guitar of this quality in this price range. The sound is really pretty good. I like the humbucker sound. But, it's a cheap humbucker sound. Not like even an Epiphone SG (which is very good for that price range). But, for the savings it's really, very good. If you're looking for a cheap, really decent strat, get this one. The humbuckers cut out the single coil noise, have better sustain, and for my money and taste, it's just a better setup. I really wish that Squier had spent a little more money and made a better guitar with this setup. Give it a more traditional strat feel, a better neck, better electronics and some rockin humbuckers and I will pay triple what this guitar cost. As nice as this little guitar is for a hundred bucks I would never be satisfied with it. It's a starter guitar (albeit a nice one), and that's the beginning and end of the story. Veteran guitar players wont be crazy about this guitar in a few hours. Squier, give us a higher quality HH strat and we will love you for it. The covered humbuckers look so much better than the open coils. Give me some hot wound, rockin pickups with some serious sustain, and a good maple neck and I will buy it.
