Welcome to the Price Is Right

Comments about Squier Black and Chrome Special Edition Tele Electric Guitar:

249 was what I paid 5 years ago Mine was made in Indonesia For a cheap Fender Telecaster Throwdown Looks sweet and sounds good if you push it. (Raise up Pickups pretty close to strings)always been a backup guitar Stays in Tune which is important to me. I have bought 3 Fender Squire Telecasters this was the only one that hasn't fallen apart when playing for over 10 hrs the other 2 I traded back and bought another Ibanez with 2 humbuckers Just finished readjusting pickups trying to avoid purchasing some new Texas tele custom shop pickups the neck pickup is very difficult to adjust had to unbolt the neck in order to get pickgaurd off and add layers under the pickup to raise it higher. Ouch not what I had in mind today the sound is 2 or 3 times better

Best Tele bang for the buck!!!

By Dave

Comments about Squier Black and Chrome Special Edition Tele Electric Guitar:

This fine ax is one of the best bargains out there!!Teles are simple by design. No need for fancy hardware or electronics. Just a lean mean musical machine and this baby has all of that and killer looks to boot. The stock pickups are great, no need to upgrade them at all unless you want a sound that is not pure Tele bliss. This one has all the build quality as a MIM Fender Tele,Maybe even better, believe it or not. No sharp fret ends, perfect, straight neck. Tuners may not be Grovers, but they work. All I added was roller string trees and it stays in tune perfectly. Forget Xaviere Teles, get a real Telecaster from Squier, you won't be dissapointed

Comments about Squier Black and Chrome Special Edition Tele Electric Guitar:

So I bought this guitar wanting a telecaster, and with it looking like a John 5 tele, I had to have it! It is amazing! It has the exact same sound and feel as a Fender.

Horrible ,Cheap guitar!!!!!

By Hjelle

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Squier Black and Chrome Special Edition Tele Electric Guitar:

The big problem with this guitar has a bad tone, the tone is flat and bland in my opinion. Squiers are made in Korea so the quality of the wood and neck is not even comparable to mexican or American made Fenders. The only some what good point ,out of the many flaws wih this guitar is: the comfortable ,traditional Tele caster shape. the rest of the guitar is worthless.

WORTH IT! - Trust me.

Comments about Squier Black and Chrome Special Edition Tele Electric Guitar:

When I went to guitar center with my cousin to check out some guitars, not only did the mirror pickguard on the guitar catch my attention, I soon learned it had a beautiful sound for a guitar at this price! Being a beginner at guitar, I give thanks to my cousin who has helped me out along the way. To say the least, when I bought this guitar that day, brought it home, and wow the sound is rich, I LOVE IT! Great guitar for any beginner and even intermediate. The look and sound will not let you down. Definitely an A+ on my part.
