I love this guitar. Great tone, feel, nice addition to my collection. Played Fenders in the store only difference I could detect was the price and it was slightly heavier. My luthier dressed and leveled the frets, proper setup and changed the caps to my liking. Love the Candy Apple Red!Pickups are good and have a nice single coil bark. Works for me and have plenty of money for upgrades. If you're not a head stock snob and you're looking for a Tele give this one a look.

i used this guitar mainly as a practice guitar. and right from the get go it came straight out of the box needing a set up and it had very bad fret buzz. not to mention the intonation was WAY off. there were some sharp edges on the ends of the frets. overall this is NOT what i had expected from a brand new guitar. then i plug it in. the input jack was messed up and kept cutting in and out on me. i checked my cables to see if they were the problem and they werent. and lastly ive had 2 telecasters before and they both played fine, now granted they were used, but this one it seems had the absolute SMALLEST neck width of any guitar ive ever had and i have small hands but i kept getting my chord fingerings wrong and it just seemed like the string were too close together. im pretty dissapointed with this guitar and needless to say i took it back.

Comments about Squier Affinity Series Telecaster, Rosewood Fingerboard:

COLOR IS BRIGHTER THAN SHOWN (GOOD). WEIGHT IS GOOD, NOT AS HEAVY AS MY FENDER TELES. FRET WORK IS GOOD. NECK IS GOOD. TUNERS GOOD. I WILL ADD A SECOND STRING TREE TO THE "D&G" STRINGS. PICK UPS SOUND LIKE THEY ARE MORE "VINTAGE" THAT HOT (A GOOD THING). FRET WORK IS GOOD SMOOTH EDGES. NUT IS CUT VERY WELL. VERY GLAD WITH THIS PURCHASE.

Nice look. Plays good after new strings and set-up. I changed the pick-up (bridge). Changed the string tree to a roller one. Changed pick guard for looks and shoe polish on the head stock. Really nice sound and look now.

Grabbed this guitar in an open box deal and I'm really happy. Neck was straight and action was decent right out of the box.

Almost bought the starter pack w/ frontman amp, but liked the looks of the this one better. Shop around and you can get the Squiers with a much better amp.

Comments about Squier Affinity Series Telecaster, Rosewood Fingerboard:

I just got my guitar today! I bought the gunmetal grey version, and WOW. This guitar how do i say it... it's amazing! as soon as i got home i picked up my new guitar and started playing with it and was so amazed. this guitar is a HUGE improvement of the 2005/2012 affinity's and this guitar is priced at the same Price! I also "use to own" the 2005 maple sunburst but i sold that and bought this one and there's alot of improvements that were made. the neck on this guitar is smooth and is rosewood and it feels awesome to play it, also the frets are nicely leveled unlike the others squiers from 2005(which had sharp edges on the frets ...This one does not! and i'm glad! I pre-ordered this guitar in may and it was definitely worth the wait because now i'm happy and satisfied. also the finish on the guitar is simply awesome. well all i can really say and leave behind here is, try it out and see for yourself how truly great this guitar is, and whats cool is i'm the first person to review this guitar and i hope i did great! and YES this is definitely a guitar i would recommend to anyone! I'm happy and i will go play now!whoo!.
