Great intro into the Tele world

    By Steve Linz

    from Watertown WI

Comments about Squier Affinity Left-Handed Telecaster Special Electric Guitar:

I am left handed. Need I say more. Well I probably should. Being left handed means you can't borrow you friend guitar for a few week to see what you think. I have owned over the years all the major type of guitars (SG, Les Paul, 335, etc,)always over looked the Telecaster. For this price, come on! First week had to replace the saddle pieces 50 bucks more, no biggy. High end still buzzed, hum guess the other end needed something too. I applied the old pencil lead technique, good enough now. Remember this this neck is more narrow than the standard Tele the pre-make nuts will not fit. MY FUTURE in the Tele-world. Plan to buy the real thing next the American Tele. Wider neck, better paint beefy frets. I should give Guitar Center a call to see if they have the left handed American in stock

    great guitar

    By Peter Broussard

Comments about Squier Affinity Left-Handed Telecaster Special Electric Guitar:

I needed a guitar for recording original material. I have a growing number of instruments. Mostly acoustic, with single coil and humbucker pick ups. The Telecaster provides the range of tones I needed, from chunky sharp to mild and mellow. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to buy the Squier affinity and am glad I did, the guitar sounds really fine played through an old Marshall Lead 20. Oh, I almost forgot I also own Yamaha and Squier basses. So I have some thing to judge against. In my opinion you can't go wrong buying this entry level guitar. An absolute bargain, you can't find a better deal, I know, I looked and this is beside the fact that I am left handed. I am now ready to get Loud and make some noise.

    A good beginning!

    By Peter Broussard

Comments about Squier Affinity Left-Handed Telecaster Special Electric Guitar:

I needed an electric guitar for recording. I was looking for something that has a pretty fair tonal range and the guitar really has it nailed. Chunky sharp to mild and mellow. Some how that sounds like I am reviewing cheese, not a Telecaster. One of the other reviewers said something about the jack and knobs. I have to tighten the nut on the jack every other time I am playing. Come on, Squier a lock washer is all that is needed and you know what I have one and know how to use it. So, if at some point I gig with this quitar, all that is needed is the chops to make you not care what quitar I am playing, so get off your but and dance to the music.

    Great Guitar

    By Jose Morales

    from Bakersfield, CA

Comments about Squier Affinity Left-Handed Telecaster Special Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar because I really wanted a Tele and I didn't have a lot of money. This thing sounds absolutely great. The bridge pup is really trebly which is good for punk and rock n' roll. The middle position is great for blues if you want a warm tone with some punch. And the neck pup is great for clean and mellow overdrive. Probably the only downsides are the input jack and the knobs. The input jack requires constant screwing, it'd be better just to replace it. Same thing with the knobs they get loose so it'd be good to replace those too. Other than that it's an amazing guitar one of the best I've ever bought. Good Job Fender and Squier.

    buy it

    By james closmann

Comments about Squier Affinity Left-Handed Telecaster Special Electric Guitar:

I bought one of these for my left handed brother. it is well worth every penny and a steal at this price. fit and finish were flawless, action was perfect right out of the box, low without any fret buzz. electronics seemed adequate and tone good. I would not have bought it had I known it was made in china. but, was pleasantly surprised at the high quality. only downside is you don't get a gig bag at this price. but well worth double this low cost. was fun to play and solid enough to gig with.

Great Tele sound for a great price

    By michael calle

    from New York

Comments about Squier Affinity Left-Handed Telecaster Special Electric Guitar:

When i first saw this guitar i thought it was going to be a very cheap version of the Telecaster. I Tried this out at a guitar shop and was honestly blown away from the incredible sounds it has. It truly should be named Telecaster rather then Squire. I've work with many expensive guitars, Rickenbackers, Martins, Fenders, Gibsons and so on and i can honestly say this guitar is worth the price its at. For a beginner or just a gig guitar, this guitar is amazing and has an amazing sound. I would totally recommend it to any left handed players
