Great starter guitar

This was the first guitar I bought and it has definatly served its purpose. The hardware isn't bad. It sounds pretty good coming through a good sound system and does well though an amp. I'd have to say that if you want have a nice guitar with the classic Stratocaster feel, this is the guitar for you.

Clean Sound, Amazing Guitar

So being past the beginning stage, I still found this Fender Squier, Standard Stratocaster to be helpful. I'd even recommend it, if you're a professional. Since its playability is very easy, playing is more fun and faster..if that's your style. I found it fell out of tune often( while playing at home), but that's an easy problem to solve. Light weight, and the pickups provide a nice clean tone. (even if there not expensive pickups ). Almost the perfect affordable electric guitar, for just about any player. Was satisfying to find a left handed Fender, that was finally in an inexpensive price range. Once you hold it, you'll not want to put it down.

An affordable Strat

The Stratocaster is a guitar icon and the Squier Strat makes it easy to own one yourself. Here's a brief rundown of what this guitar gives you: Neck - this Squier has a wonderful easy-to-play neck. Body - hardwood body, no plywood like some cheaper guitars. Tuners - standard diecast tuners, not the fanciest hardware but they get the job done. Electronics - this is where the major cost cutting seems to occur. For the price of this guitar the pickups are quite decent but an upgrade could really make this guitar sound as good as it plays. Overall, this is a good guitar at a great price.

Great beginner guitar

This guitar is great for any lefty starting to play guitar. Finding a good, cheap left handed beginner guitar is hard to come by, but this one fits the scenario perfectly. This thing plays like a charm and sounds great too. The only problem that I had with this was that I constantly broke strings. I tried a heavier gauge and that threw the bridge out of whack. Even still, the guitar sounds great and is a great buy for any beginner.
