Great Monitor for the price!

The Squier? SQ12M 12 Inch Floor Monitor is a great small monitor. It allows me to hear my vocals much better when I'm singing for my band than our 15" PA speakers alone. I have it on it's own channel from the mixing board and power amp so that I can adjust the voume of this monitor separately. With the Single 1/4" input, this speaker is easy and fast to hook up. The clarity and projection are surprizingly good for such an affordable monitor. At only 27 lbs, it is easy for pretty much anyone to carry around. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for an affordable monitor with good quality performance and features.

Good sound for little money

I recently purchased one of these little guys and I like it. It sounds GOOD...not great, not fantastic....GOOD. For the price they are a good value. They sound nice and clean and are dependable. I put on an adaptor to mount on a tripod. I play a small restaurant 3 nights a week, and they have performed well. If you are on a budget and want something that sounds good and is dependable, this is your ticket.

Not the typical Squire.

For me, when I think of Squire, I think of factory ripoff strats made in the hills of cambodia by seven-year-old child labor or something to the effect. But I have to say I was pleasently suprised by this budget monitor. I needed something cheap, and quality was not my highest concern since nobody but me was going to hear the it. This speaker fulfilled my expectations and then some, and if you are strapped, this is not the worst option.
