NEW REVIEW - great starter guitar
i've been playing for about 6 months now with this guitar (without the tremelo) and it has worked very well. it has a good clean sound and distorted sound. one down side is that there is only 21 fretts so you cant play some of the really high pitched stuff. thats really the only downside but overall its a great starter guitar

NEW REVIEW - nice beginner guitar
this is a very nice guitar, perfect for beginners. i would give it a five star, bet it only gets a four b/c the stock strings are crap, and i would sudgest changing them, 3 out of 6 broke withen a month. and i dont use the tremolo. it makes the guitar get so out of tune. so if you switch the strings and remove the tremolo (which is removable) it is a very good guitar for the $$.

It is a Fender!!!
This is my first guitar. I didn't want to pay a lot for something I may not touch again. I got the instructional DVD and music book and could not be happier with my choice. It is light, the finish is beautiful, and I cant seem to put it down! I even let some friends who have been playing for years mess around with it. They all told me I made an excellent choice. It may be a Sqier, but it has the soul of a Fender. You cant go wrong with this one!!

Fender Squire
This is a great guitar for the price. I have had mine for around 3 years now and still, it plays like it did the first time I picked it up. I DEFINITELY recommend getting new strings because the ones that come on the guitar will rip your fingers to shreads. It does come out of tune fairly easily so if you're a beginner I would invest in a tuner, and there is also a slight bit of buzzing from the strings occasionally but nothing too serious. This guitar is perfect for beginners, even to intermediate players as well. Like I said, I have had this guitar for over 3 years, and it still players beautifully, and it surprisingly has that rich Fender tone. For the price, this guitar cannot be beat, if you're just starting, or don't want to break your budget, this guitar is definitely the way to go.
