Great Guitar for Anyone

This is a GREAT guitar especially for the money. I have no complaints with it. It has excellent tone and great feel. I like the thinner neck that it has. I have not had any of the problems that other people have talked about. I own other guitars and have played many others at guitar center. This surpasses any of the lower grade fender guitars that I have played quality wise. It is manufactured much better. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

This guitar is an extrmeely good modle for what its worth. Although its pickups sound a little fuzzy, its altogether a great guitar for beginers and for experianced players like my bro. So, if you yust started, I would defitly recomend it to you.

Not bad as a starter guitar

This guitar does a pretty decent job of reproducing that famous Strat sound in my opinion, but it doesnt take too discerning of an ear to tell the differance. Overall the sound is generally pretty decent but I've had a bit of a problem getting it to sound full or powerful. I've had this guitar for a good while and never had any problems with the quality or the workmanship and mine has taken some nasty bumps and falls. The one issue I have is that there is a bit of a buzz on the low E string sometimes. The most imporant part though, in my opinion, is that this guitar is very easy to play. It just feels good sitting in your hands whether you're sitting or standing and it's easy to move up and down the fretboard. Perhaps most importantly for beginners it is very easy to hold the strings down and produce clean sounding notes (with the partial exception of the 6th string as I mentioned above). Bottom Line: A good guitar for beginners who don't want to spend a lot of money but once you move to the intermediate stage you'll probobly want something nicer.

Why Not?

well lets see it seems like everyone makes fun of Squier. Well what they did was makes guitars availible to everyone. Its great to learn on. There's really nothing wrong with it. its a good guitar by design since its based on a strat. so the build qualty might not be as clean its not like its falling apart. So then people say well its made of cheap alder. well actually its a fact that alder makes more sustain than ash. I guess all you can really complain about are the pickups, no the magnets in the pickups. even still who buys even an american strat and keeps the factory pick-ups. get a set of texas single-coils and go to town. so just buy it.

Great Guitar!

I've had this guitar for over two years now. It's really amazing for the price. It sounds great and can stand up to many fenders. The only problems I've ever had for it is in the guitar output jack. They were somewhat simple problems that i was able to fix with duct or electric tape. The only other downfall of this guitar is that the tone buttons on it don't make much difference in the sound. Overall, I would reccomend this guitar to anyone looking for an electric for this price. It's amazing.
