Great guitar from Squier
I've had one since March [got mine special ordered], and i can confidently say that it's one of my favorite Tele's i've played in a good while. Great neck, the pickups sound awesome, and for the price of the guitar, it's one of the best guitars i've played for $300. The sounds i can get from the combination of pickups is incredible, and the reversed control plate helps tremendously. Definitely a great idea for a second guitar for someone, or as a backup guitar.

Nice for the price
I bought this about 5 weeks ago from a local retailer. I got the black model. The finish is great with no flaws. Wasn't crazy about the shiny neck, but getting used to it. The p/u's are okay with the neck being my fave. I put a Bigsby B5 kit on it to give even more of a b*tchin vibe. This is a nice guitar for the price. I'd buy another one if I lost this one. I have several Squiers and this one is my 2nd fave behind my Cyclone, but quickly gaining equal play time.

swing and a miss
I LOVE squiers, I REALLY do! I'm all for getting more than you bargin for. I have an Affinity tele that's become a favorite gigger. The neck on this one MAY be salvagable. If I pull the frets and level the board, then, finish the frets this one will be far more playable. Right now a fast slide up or down the neck will treat you to getting caught on every fret they're so poorly finished. Putting a straight edge on the board showed a drop-out between the 2'nd & 12th frets. This is after I pulled and lubed the truss nut and re-adjusted the rod. The pups are miss-matched, bridge and mid are fine but I'll bet Seymour told them the neck would be nearly cataclysmic in concert with the mid. Neck measures 8.6 k +- and would have better served the axe at a classic 6.7 k +-. Body finish is the best I've seen in a Squier. String-thru bridge is a BIG plus. Squier tried and this axe WILL make a great start for a very nice setup. As I said, swing and a miss.

Very unique squier tele
I bought this just over a year ago and it's a pretty nice tele for the price. The bridge pickup is good and the neck pickup is pretty sweet too, personally I don't really like the middle pickup but that's just me. I'm not a huge fan of the very glossy neck but it is a comfortable neck at least. The guitar stays in tune surprisingly well. If you dial it all up just right, it's a good value.

Nice solid tele
This is a nice solid axe.I own the black with white pick guard.I am a beginner guitarist and this thing is very comfortable to play and the different tones and sounds you get are unreal.I find I have a hard time putting mine down when Im playing it.It's a little on the heavy side but that shows how solid this monster is.I love mine and will continue to enjoy it,Any other beginners out there,Give it a try,I think you will love it too. Thanks!!!!!!!!

Nice Guitar
I'm a Bassist and this was my first 6-string guitar. its easy to play and the 3 pickups make for a great sound. I wasn't to crazy about the glossy neck when i first got it but now i think it makes it look cleaner cut. the neck is also the perfect size which makes it to play even with smaller sized hands. This guitar is great for Blues and Rock. I highly recommend it for beginners and also for more experienced players as a secondary guitar.

Pretty nice telecaster
Very nice telecaster from Squier. Nice for beginners to intermediate players. I bought this a few months ago and the only thing I didn't like were the factory strings. I replaced them with Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings and now it's amazing. Nice price too as usual from Squier.

Great Price, Lot's of Tonal Varition!
Squier really moved up a few notches in Quality
in this Tele. The Red Ceadar/Maple Neck blend
pretty good and mine came fairly close to set-up.
Duncan Design P/U's are very good with the exception of the middle SC102 a little weak, but
I'm going to check the wiring for that. The only
Mod's I have made are Going back to Vintage 3
saddle and Ernie Ball Reg.Slinky's.All in all
this Baby Stacks up to a MIM Tele! Buy it...

Awsome options
I bought this guitar about 3 weeks ago and I love it. There are so many things you can do with the tone. so your not stuck playing one style with this. The only problem I have had, is the middle pick up is really flat and toneless, but i added a fender lace, and fixed that, so for the price it doesnt hurt to modify a little, and is definatly worth it. I also play a Strat highway 1, this can sound just as good.
