  • Great alternative to buying the Fender HSS

As reviewed by Chris Tolentino on 4/12/2013

I already own the Fender MIM HSS and a Squier Affinity HSS. And this guitar is way better then the Affinity HSS. The finish is excellent and the sound is great. I do alot of switching and I think the Duncan pickups are huge plus over the standard pickups in the Affinity. As for the comparison to the Fender MIM HSS, I think this guitar holds its own. There is a slight tone difference between the two, but I that is most likely due to the heavier weight on the Fender MIM HSS. Overall, this is a great guitar for the money and a great alternative to paying more (double) for the Fender version of this guitar. I'm hooked on the tone variations that the HSS model gives you it basically covers all styles of play from Jazz to Country to Rock. Get one of these you won't be sorry! Rock on...

  • pickups, buzz....

As reviewed by jack sullivan on 12/19/2013

Had One of these for a while but got rid of it because of the buzz. also the pick ups on mine were way too shrill and gave aweful feed back. was looking for a beater i could take with me on the road. guess i will look elsewhere
