  • Amazing! as good as a fender!!!!

    this guitar rocks!!!!!!!! it sounds as good as a real fender. for the price this bass is a steal!!!! I used it with my acoustic b100 and it sounded amazing. from classic rock, to heavy metal! you cannot go wrong!

  • i don't own this bass

    although i did try it at Guitar Center. i own the Vintage Mod Jazz Bass and it's right on par with it, but cheaper! debating on buying this come tax return season to go with my Jazz. the look is like no other bass; a weird mix of classic and new. and a bargain! Squier is stepping up it's quality like no other company, it's up there with the big bother Fender's products. definately a buy for an introductory bassist or even someone 10 years into the game.

  • Better tone than the Mexican Fenders.

    This bass felt great the minute I picked it up. Squier has REALLY stepped their game up. The tone, craftsmanship, price, what else do you want? After taking a half an hour to really give it a good test at guitar center I bought it. It was when I got home and plugged it in when I was able to fully notice the quality, playing on my own amp I noticed immediately that the tone on this guy surpassed my old mexican fender and maybe surpassed my Ibanez 6 string with a active/passive switch and a 3 band EQ. This bass just has a good quality tone, those pickup s get the job done. If your looking for new basses, I would recommend checking out squiers vintage modified line, they probly have something you will love to.
