• An Awesome and Must BUY 5 String Electric Guitar Bass for the Price.

  First of all I've never bought a Guitar Bass at Guitar Center but, I have owned a 4 String, Gray G. Burton Electric Guitar Bass. Being this time being my first time and all I came in and saw that there was a lot of variety to choose from. So like any other person that walk's in, I looked for the cheapest one there was. After looking at the 4 String Guitar Basses I decided to take a look at the 5 String and I was pretty amazed by the color and over all, the price of the Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V 5-String Electric Bass Guitar. The price was $329.99 and for the 5 String Bass it's pretty low. So I decided to check it out and when I played it I noticed right away that it has a super smooth neck so that your hands slide easier to play with out your hands hurting. BUT However the only thing that I would say that I don't like about this 5 String Bass is that's its HEAVY and if you have a regular strap at first your shoulder will not hurt but after a while I feels Heavy but otherwise this is a good Guitar Bass. So if you have in mind to buy a Good and Low Price 5 String Electric Guitar Bass I suggest that you buy the Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V 5-String Electric Bass Guitar.I hope that this review is helpful.

• A must have bass guitar for the budget minded.

  I ordered this bass not expecting a very low end sounding bass. Boy was I wrong, this is a great bass. My friend turn me on to the squire by fender bass. Told me why would you want to spend all that money on a expense fender jazz bass. The squire sounds just as good. He was right for the price you cannot beat this bass for its class and some bass's above this class. I had a 1970's fender jazz and the feel and the sounds are not a whole lot different in the squire. Played through a good amp it really sounds great,Im impresed. Im sure glad I did not spend the extra money I would not be ashame to use this bass in any situation practice or gigs. Matched with the right amp and your good to go. I Would highly recommend this bass if your budget conscious. Great tone easy to play and very attactive. A+

• Very good bass for the $

  FEATURES: Very simple operation. No active electronics. 2 volume 1 tone control. Tuners work well. QUALITY: I've only had this bass a couple weeks, but have a bunch of other axes thru the years & this one gives no bad surprises. I check all screws & fasteners on any new axe before I play much & all on this one were tight with nothing stripped or loose. I may be replacing the cheap pots down the line, but they function ok for now. Pickups are surprisingly good. I may play with some different ones down the line, but the factory ones are not bad. The only real let down on this bass for me is the bridge. It is adequate - but that is all. Understandable with this price point. I will be replacing it with a billet machined, string thru body bridge in the near future. LOOK & FEEL: This bass looks fantastic! I'm really impressed with the fit & finish. Neck pocket is tight. Fretwork is pretty good. I will be rounding down a couple sharp edges, but that is a preference of mine. I also replace the stock strap buttons with straplocks on all my guitars. It plays good out of the box, but I do a set-up on all my guitars shortly after getting them anyway.
