NEW REVIEW - Awesome Bass!

Dude. A couple years ago I was looking for my first bass. I found the Vintage Modified Jazz. I loved that it was so cheap and I had looked at some Videos of it and it sounded GREAT. So I purchased it. Ive played it for the last 2 years and was amazed by the sound quality and the punchyness of it. You can really use this for anything, make it sound like anything you want it to. I LOVE this Bass!

NEW REVIEW - Holy Crap!

I'm amazed with this bass guitar! I'm a huge Rush/Yes fan. I love that distinctive, puncy, sharp, cut-through-a-ten-foot-thick-plate-of-adamantium bass tone that the likes of Chris Squier, Geddy Lee, Steve Harris (of Iron Maiden), and etc. developed and have weilded with such success over the years. I have to say, I didn't quite expect to get all of that from this bass, but I was extremely impressed! After a Badass II and some DR Hi's, all I have to do is dial in my own personal settings [bridge pickup full, neck 1/6 or so, full tone (bass), then treble almost full cranked, mids half way, bass way down, hit contour switch (amp)] and I've got that signiture mojo and crazy knifing sound. It's closer to "That tone" than I've ever gotten in my whole life. Besides the crazy awesome sound... The pickups are hot, the neck is like butter with a side of lightning, and the weight is perfectly distributed. The entire instrument is brilliant, and expertly crafted. I fall in love with it every time I pick it up. In the end, what you get is a multi-grand Fender vintage RI, for 300 bucks! If you are thinking about it, GET IT!!!

UNBELIEVEABLE!

This sounds, looks, and plays better than the $1100.00 American Fender Jazz I had! The pups are HOT! The hardware is decent for the price. Tuners have a nice tight feel but are smooth. The Volume and tone pots have a viscous feeling to them when you turn them, cushion like. The sound is a Jazz Bass. Electronics are quiet with both pick-ups on equal and even with the tone knob all the way up! If you want a good Jazz bass period, get this one and save about $700.00. AWESOME BASS!

don't miss this bass!

I have previously played a Yamaha fretless bass and decided to look around for a fretted instrument for a different sound. The Fender Squire not only looks great, but plays like a dream. It stays in tune even after "punishing" playing. The retro looks have gotten compliments and it looks like a Fender Jazz Bass I saw in the store which costs hundreds more. In fact, one salesman couldn't tell the difference. The price won't break the bank either--always a plus. When looking for a bass, don;t miss this one.
