Wonderful Telecaster
Nicely done Squire! This is a great guitar. The medium jumbo frets are nicely dressed,no sharp edges. It has two Duncan designed P90 pickups that are really hot.I got the vintage blonde finish. The black custom pickguard is really unique.First class craftsmanship all around.Seperate volume and tone for each pickup. If you want a nice Tele you can't go wrong here.

worth the money
I got this tele a few weeks ago and it's all i ever looked for. This is no ordinary telecaster, the pickups on it sound amazing, it has a nice heavy body. The neck is nice and firm with a lot of action. Also has a nice skunk stripe on the back. And it looks awesome. It's good for a new guitar player or an experienced player!!! Over all this is a really good guitar. Squier made a good product. You will get your money's worth.

not a regular fender
I received this guitar three days ago, and I'm completely satisfied with it. It came in perfect shape, just a minor scratch on the back. With just a little action and intonation adjustment, it's ready to go. I really love the sound of it. The P-90's give it a nice, punchy sound to it. They can handle stuff from blues to hard rock. The neck feels comfortable, and lets you play pretty fast, the tuners are solid, and all the knobs and switch are perfect. It's a little heavy, but that's pretty much the only bad thing to it.

Great overall guitar for the price
I picked up this guitar used and was impressed with it considering the price range. The frets are smooth and not hand shredders like so many cheaper line guitars. The fit is better than i expected it to be for a squire and the p-90 knockoffs actually sound good clean or with distortion. Rock and metal actually sound great threw the stock pickups. The neck has a great smooth feel for faster playing. I did buy some after market chrome plastic covers which did cancal out some of the hum from the single coil pickups. I never thought i would play a telecaster for metal music, but hey it sounds great.

Not bad....
Had my eye on this one for a little while and needed a backup guitar. Box was torn open on the side and the packaging was very subpar. No scratches though. The neck pickup cover loose on r/s. The guitar feels cheap, like its plastic or something but weighs almost the same as my American Standard Telecaster. The neck does NOT have a finish (naked wood). According to Warmoth, that nearly demand you put a finish on the neck to prevent warping or twisting. I'm sure this will be an issue in the future. Plugged in, it is a little noisy via pickups and when you touch the body and knobs. Resonate, I guess. Playing - the sound of the guitar was actually very surprising, considering all the negatives above. It plays nice and has a strong punch but is also very smooth. I'm definately keeping it. I just wish it didn't "feel" so cheap.

SQUIER CUSTOM TELECASTER II (Blonde) Proud to play a Squier?
I have been playing guitar for 35 years and let me tell you I have played EVERYTHING from Rics to Gibs to Fends to you name it. I play pro in a gigging rock band and let me say, I am PROUD to pull out my SQUIER CUSTOM TELECASTER II (Blonde). You can get blues at low crunchy volumes but let out the volume (not all the way, they are HIGH GAIN P/U's!)and it turns into a ROCK MONSTER! I play through an all tube Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. There are many nights this Squier Tele is my main guitar! I also have a Fender MIM Strat modified and a SQUIER Esquire '51 which I play onstage a lot. I was so impressed with the playability of the Esquire '51, I had the Buzz Feiten tuning system put on and did a couple of little tweaks and IT IS ALSO a FANTASTIC guitar with great action and stock pickups. Always be careful of budget guitars. There ARE lemons out there but Squier outdid themselves on these two models (the Esquire '51 has been discontinued. I also own a Fender telecoustic and a Godin USA made G-1000 that I play equally as much. When I buy a guitar, I go for one that FEELS good as well as sounds good on stage so I can pick up ANY of them and feel the love. Definitely check out bang for buck on this awesome Squier Tele Custom II AND the Esquire '51 reissue (if you can find one of them). I would never have considered playing a Squier onstage years ago. I now have guys coming up to see what it is and when they get their hands on it, they don't want to let it go. That testimonial enough for ya! LOL! The Blonde looks more like a TV Yellow and has a COOL vibe all the way around! Almost more "Gibson-like" in sounds you can get outta those P-90's. I Can get that Johnny Thunders, New York Dolls quack outta the p-90's

Sounds good
This plays and sounds very good. Action could be lower but plays ok. Sounds very good with a Blues jr. but humms badly when you turn the guitar volume knobs down and goes away when turned up for some reason. I'll have that looked at.This sounds way better than the one with the 2 humbuckers. For this price you get killer looks and awsome sound clean or overdriven especially on the bridge pick up. Just have someone lower the action if needed and its great.Get the blonde one too. Highly recommend to anyone.
