This Squier SE Special Strat Value Pack includes a Squier SE Special Stratocaster electric guitar and an SP-10 amp, plus an instrument cable, electronic tuner, instructional DVD, guitar stand, gig bag, and picks.

The Squier SE Special Strat Electric Guitar combines 3 single-coils and 5-way switching for great tonal range. It also has a solid agathis body with shell pickguard, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position inlays, die-cast chrome tuners, and standard fulcrum tremolo bridge.

The Squier SP-10 amp controls include volume, treble, bass, and an overdrive on/off button that delivers tube-like tone. A headphone output allows silent practice. 10 watts drive a 6" speaker and the amp has a tough textured vinyl exterior.

  • Good beginner guitar

    I'm a beginner as of now. Been playing since Christmas. My sister got this pack for 25 dollars from her patient. This is a great guitar in my opinion. Maybe not as good as a Ibanez. But still a wonderful guitar. I've learned many songs on this and gotten the use of the tremolo bar. I would recommend this to ANY guitar player.

  • Fender Stratocaster

    This is not cheap. With this new Sunburst I adjusted some things like the tuners, the bridge action, the string tree, put D'Addario strings, adjusted truss rod, little bit of the frets, the nut of the guitar, and bought a Fender Stratocaster pickguard colored white. Now it looks like and plays like an early 60's strat. I have five guitars but this one tops them all. The original price of this is actually $349.99 and some of the customers said that you would be happy with just buying the guitar for 350. When you get this guitar, just look up as much videos on YouTube that are about fixing up guitars or just send it to the guitar technician so that he can adjust it the best he can. This is no beginner. PS... People say that cheap Squire Guitars are stupid and stay out of tune quickly but actually pretty much a lot of "real" strats get out of tune. Look up on YouTube for the best way to put new strings on, there is a popular method that locks the strings to the tuners, and if you want to use the tremolo or so called the whammy bar, just place powdered graphite in the nut of the guitar so that the strings can slide easily. Lots of people do this to keep their guitar in tune almost permanently until new stringing time.

  • beginners

    I got this guitar a long time ago and I can say it is a decently built guitar, i have dropped it a few times over the years, but it still works great. I like to play metal and surprisingly the pickups scream somewhat decently. It is not a sensitive touch play at all, I can not stress that enough. The Squire is not made for the metal genre of music but it is a great beginners guitar. I would reccomend it to a kid who wants to learn guitar because it is affordable and good for beginning techniques.
